Completely refurbished in 2008, we have a fully stocked bar with all drinks sold at the low prices you'd expect of a Students Unions bar which is currently celebrating its 40th year of trading!

The Union is clean, tidy and contemporary with modern wooden and leather furniture and a great place to chill out after a hard day on the sports field or lecture hall. We have 4 pool tables and 8 plasma screens around the bar and a big screen all fed by Sky TV with a licence to show Sky Sports and all ESPN football games too.

On our stage we have regular DJs and live music to entertain you including our HOWL Saturdays when you will get the chance to come see one of our weekly touring bands...the dance floor is there for you too if you feel the need! The Union is licensed until 1:30am.

We have full catering facilities on site and a great menu of snacks and drinks for you to enjoy. In the summer months we have a catering barbeque and outside dining tables and chairs for you to enjoy the best of the Yorkshire sun!

In short, The Union is a great place to start your night off, you never know, you may well decide to stay!
